Year starts in Feb..

OK So I have moved up to 2/4.
In January I messed around with a few different sites..Pokerstars, Full tilt and Ladbrokes..I made about 3k ..but It aint in my pokertracker so it doesn't count.......

Since the start of February I have played 2/4 on party.
I have played 13k hands and made $5.5K..I think thats about 4.8bb/100

Ok/Good, not great... The games are tougher than 1/2. Oh are they tougher.
You can play 12 tables on party, I play 4, so good multitablers are rife....
The games are also soo much more aggressive preflop, with 3, 4 betting rife.

I played 1/2 one day for a break played 1000hands and won 1k. It's funny after playing 2/4 for a monthy I was more confident at 1/2 and played very LAG about 35/22. It was fun aswell. I also felt comfortable playing 5/6 tables...
At that rate twud be an idea to stick at 1/2......I think I'll keep at 2/4 as I feel I am learning more there.

There has been alot of discussion on the forums regarding what the optimum strategy is on the "new" aggro tables with LAGs left and right.

New Year new MOE-lennium

It's been a long time.
Decided to use the old blog again.....Might help to moviatate me.
So Poker goals for 2007:
Play 200K hands: If you wanna win u gotta play and I don't play enough. 3 tabling = ~200hnds/hr.
Win 40K by June 21st.
Try to qualify for Iriah Open and some EPT's.. To try would be enough.
Handle tilt better....Don't break anything when on tilt.


I am playing on Party at the moment. 1/2NL mainly. I have a 9.2bb/100 hands according to PT. So to achieve 40K by June 21st I'll need to move up to 2/4 pronto, when I have taken shots I've gotten unlucky but the games are soft.

Let's hope I keep getting this lucky

Did not play for 10 days or so...And it has done me good...Fairly burning up the tables..
Still have not recovered from my almost bubble exit from the WSOP qualifer. 21/388 with top 10 getting seats,flights 9 nights accom and 2k spending...ah sweet jebus..

The villain below had a VPIP(voluntarily put in pot) of 50%!!! And was very LAGish(loose aggressive)..HE tended to over play his hands and it was merely a matter of waiting to pounce.

Pokertracker

So have gone to the darkside...On Empire poker..I have purchased poker tracker..
I lodged $200 about 3 weeks ago and now have about $1,700....Steady, but not amazing progress.. I also purchased gametime+. It gives real time data whilst you play...When I get used to it it may make tough decisions a little easier.
May 20th I have qualified for a WSOP MTT.. Top 2 finishers get a ticket to "the big one" Not sure how many runners yet.
